Tired of the heat? Ready for some cool fun? You are invited to join your Retirees Association on our final outing of the summer!

Lunch at Grand Oaks, Tour of Booth Western Art Museum
Tuesday, August 21, 2018 in Cartersville, Georgia.

We will gather at Grand Oaks, a beautiful antebellum home that is now a special-events venue, for lunch. Our seating reservation is for 11:30, so please arrive by 11:15. The address is 302 W. Main St., Cartersville, GA   30120. Cost for lunch is $15 per person. Ray Thacker, the owner, is a delightful host who loves to show off the special features of the house if you are interested.

Following lunch, we will proceed to the Booth Museum for a guided tour at 1:30. The address is 501 Museum Drive, Cartersville, GA  30120. Admission is $10.

RSVP to or call 470-578-7984 by August 10. We have a lunch reservation for 10, but I can call and increase that (by August 14) if we have more people interested in going.

Don’t miss this final outing of the summer! We will have a great time together exploring some local attractions.
