Annual Events
Brunch on the Bricks
Each fall semester the KSU president joins recently retired faculty and staff at the Legacy Gazebo for Brunch on the Bricks. This ceremony honors the outstanding service of KSU retirees and includes a memorial service for employees and retirees who have passed.
Started in 2010, Brunch on the Bricks is a signature event of the KSU Retirees Association that includes the scattering of rosemary for remembrance on the engraved brick plaza as well as a brunch.
All employees who retired during the prior fiscal year are invited to attend, meet previously retired friends and see their brick.

Retirement Ceremony
Every spring, the KSU president hosts the annual retirement ceremony recognizing those who have retired in the past year or are planning to retire by the end of the current academic year. Retirees are recognized with a certificate at the ceremony and a brick placed at the Legacy Gazebo on the Kennesaw campus or the Legacy Walk on the Marietta campus engraved with the retiree’s name. The Retirees Association hosts a luncheon for the retirees and a guest immediately following the ceremony.
Biennial Retirees Reunion
Every other year in February, the members of the Retirees Association gather for an afternoon of food, entertainment, and catching up. All retirees from KSU are invited to attend, see old friends, share a catered lunch, and enjoy the scheduled entertainment.
Mentoring
KSU Retirees can play a valuable role by mentoring current students and recent graduates who are seeking firsthand knowledge, guidance, and advice as they explore potential career and professional options. The Career Services Center program known as the "Alumni-2-Student Mentoring Program" allows students to network informally with alumni and retirees who have experience in the student's chosen field. Help make a positive impact on "new talent" by joining this program today!
To become a mentor, please contact the KSU Retirees Association for a registration
form, or log onto OwlLink at: https://careerctr.kennesaw.edu/content/a2smp.
(You will need your KSU ID number to log in to OwlLink.) For assistance with the
